Arris was ranked No. 7 on the 2026 Seminole 100, FSU’s list of the 100 fastest-growing businesses owned or led by FSU alumni. Companies are ranked by compound annual growth rate over the past three years, verified by EY. Honorees were celebrated on February 21, 2026, at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.
Associated Builders and Contractors of North Florida honored Arris with an Eagle Award for our renovations to the Historic Concord School Building, now the Miccosukee Community Center.
The 1905 First National Bank of Chipley building, vacant for years, has reopened as a downtown gathering space. Arris stabilized what remained of the structure, repointing the brick and securing a two-story wall with helical piles and full-height concrete columns.
FSU’s annual list of the fastest-growing alumni-owned and alumni-led businesses ranked Arris No. 7 among 100 honorees.
Residents and county leaders gathered to celebrate the renovated building and the Miccosukee history wall that now tells its story.
Leon County cut the ribbon on the restored building, now home to a community meeting space, warming kitchen and programming rooms operated with the Boys & Girls Club of the Big Bend. Arris was the general contractor for the building renovation.
Our Concord School renovation was recognized for Excellence in Construction by Associated Builders and Contractors of North Florida.
